And specifically engineered and designed to fit inside of many commonly used office and white-board markers, or used as a tiny standalone audio surveillance device, this is one of our newest covert Transmitters. The V3TX is populated by 0402 and 0201 SMD components, this allows us to use smaller batteries, scaling down the size means sacrificing operational time, but not by much for such a tiny transmitter. You can expect 12 hours of continuous & uninterrupted audio surveillance from this mighty small transmitter. Each transmitter is soldered under a microscope and quality tested prior to packaging.

This is a permanent, always-on "hot-microphone", once the batteries are inserted the V3TX will begin live transmission of ambient and surrounding audio without interruption on the Ultra High-Frequency band. The V3TX will broadcast audio over a distance of 400-500 metres in a cluttered urban environment, up to 1 kilometre with LOS, broadcasting audio through concrete, drywall, and thick bush to any UHF receiver, this transmitter operates on 2x 7.9mm Silver Oxide 1.55 V Batteries (included), but any 1.55V 7.9mm button cell will be an appropriate substitute.

Use this transmitter to remotely listen to an area of interest that requires discrete acoustic monitoring. We recommend any handheld UHF receiver capable of tuning into the 400MHz-434MHz range, this is a standard range in most UHF receivers. Our recommended handheld receiver is the Baofeng UV-5R. Your transmitter will arrive with its specific Tx/Rx frequency noted on its back.

TINYTX's transmitters are easily paired with any compact hand-held transceiver. Any Two-Way UHF Radio will work, but we recommend the BaoFeng UV-5R from FengBros. Fengbros has been our trusted supplier for the last year, they offer certified Baofeng radios at the most competitive price.

In order to maintain their longevity, transmitters are potted with a compound that seals all onboard components, only the microphone and the battery terminal are accessible and made visible.
