This compact Audio Surveillance Transmitter will broadcast for 6 days and approximately 6 hours continuously when a CR123A Li-ion battery is inserted (~150Hrs).
We chose this battery primarily because it is offered in both alkaline as well as a rechargeable li-ion cell, it packs plenty of capacity and is very small. The CR123A battery is readily available and can be picked up from many hardware stores and pharmacies.
This battery has a nominal voltage between 3.2-3.7v and has between 1500mAh and 1550mAh (mili-amp-hours). Expect excellent range & audio pickup with this transmitter.
This is a permanent, always-on "hot-microphone", once the battery is inserted, this device will begin live transmission of ambient and surrounding audio without interruption on the Ultra High-Frequency band.
